CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Four members of the Stetson University women's golf team have been named to the 2024-25 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, the organization announced Monday.
Then juniors Filippa Jansson and Ailsa Brannock, sophomore Elizabeth Eberle, and freshman Isaki Sakashita each earned the prestigious academic honor, which recognizes outstanding performance in the classroom and on the course.
A total of 1,499 women's collegiate golfers from 403 programs across all levels of the NCAA and NAIA received All-American Scholar recognition. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, remain on the team's roster through the conclusion of the season, and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's rounds through the conference championship.
Under head coach Teresa Brown, Stetson women's golf is coming off a standout 2024-25 campaign that saw the Hatters place second at the ASUN Championship, Stetson's highest finish in the tournament since winning the league title in 2011.
The four honorees mark the program's highest total since 2014-15 and continue a growing trend of academic success for Stetson, which had three WGCA All-American Scholars in 2023-24 and two in 2022-23.
