DeLand, Fla. — The Stetson women's golf team travels to Southampton, Bermuda this week to compete in the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate, hosted by Lehigh at Port Royal Golf Course. The tournament, which is there final competition before the ASUN Championship, will be played on the par-71 layout with play beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
The Hatters enter the event riding momentum from their last outing at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational in Utah, where Isaki Sakashita captured medalist honors for her first win of the season. Sakashita fired a final-round 2-under 70 — the lowest round in the field — to secure the victory after back-to-back runner-up finishes in the previous two tournaments.
Stetson will face an 11-team field that includes USC Upstate, Wofford, Duquesne, Bucknell, Saint Francis, Morehead State, Idaho State, UAlbany, Mount St. Mary's and host Lehigh.
The Hatters lineup will feature Isaki Sakashita, Julieta Oviedo, Elizabeth Eberle, Ailsa Brannock and Filippa Jansson, while Anna Huettl will compete as an individual.
Stetson is paired with host Lehigh for the opening round. Sakashita and Oviedo will tee off alongside Lehigh's Alisia Ren and Bridget Yu at 8:30 a.m. from Hole 10. Eberle and Brannock will follow in the next grouping with Stefania Fedun and Alana Hall, while Jansson and Huettl will round out the Hatters' groups alongside Reese Hannon and Isabella Scanapicco.
Live scoring for the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate will be available on LeaderboardKing.
