DeLAND, Fla. — Stetson women's golfer Isaki Sakashita has been named ASUN Women's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon.
Sakashita earns the recognition following a dominant performance at the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate, where she captured medalist honors and led the Hatters to a 32-stroke team victory at Port Royal Golf Course in Bermuda.
The junior posted rounds of 78-71-74 to finish with a 233 total, securing her second consecutive individual title and second win of the season. Her second-round 71 stood as the lowest round of the tournament, helping her separate from the field and take control of the leaderboard.
Sakashita recorded six birdies and 33 pars across the three rounds, showcasing consistency throughout the event while leading Stetson to its third team victory of the season.
The honor marks Sakashita's third ASUN Golfer of the Week selection this season and the fifth of her career. She joins teammate Filippa Jansson as Hatters to earn the recognition during the 2025-26 campaign.
Stetson will return to action at the ASUN Championship, set for April 17-19 at Dothan Country Club in Dothan, Alabama.
