DeLand, Fla. - Visiting North Florida out-hit the Stetson volleyball team (1-19, 0-13 Atlantic Sun) by nearly 200 points and out-killed the Hatters by a near two to one margin (46-29) in a 27-25, 25-13, 25-19 sweep Saturday at the Edmunds Center.  Senior middle blocker Laura Boyd (La Crescenta, Calif.) led Stetson with eight kills.

Freshman setter Kelli Carneal (Fredericksburg, Va.) put up team-high figures of 18 assists and nine digs for the Hatters, who were out-hit .265 to .075 by the Ospreys (9-13, 4-9 A-Sun).  Sophomore middle blocker Sam Freeman (Gulf Breeze, Fla.) paced the effort at the net with four blocks.

Kaley Read racked up 19 kills and five blocks for UNF, which also got a 36-assist, five-dig effort from setter Jessica Catelano.  Nicole Baran led all players in the match with 12 digs.

The Hatters are off until Friday when they head north to Nashville for the annual pair of weekend matches in the Music City.  Stetson faces off with Belmont at 6:30 p.m. CT (7:30 p.m. ET) Friday and takes on league-leading Lipscomb at 2 p.m. CT (3 p.m. ET) on Saturday.  The matches can be viewed online at A-Sun.TV.
