Stetson rising senior shortstop/center fielder Casey Frawley (New Haven, Conn.) was selected with the #515 overall pick in the 17th round of the 2009 MLB Draft on Wednesday by the Cleveland Indians.  Frawley is the second Hatter to be selected today as 2009 A-Sun Player of the Year Jeremy Cruz (Miami, Fla.) went to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 13th round.

Frawley batted .324 with 10 home runs and 53 RBI in 2009, slugging .513 with seven stolen bases and a team-high three triples.  He was named First Team All-Atlantic Sun for the second year in a row.
