Jacksonville, Fla. - The Stetson volleyball team (0-13, 0-7 Atlantic Sun) endured yet another poor offensive performance, hitting under .100 for the sixth time this year in a 25-10, 25-14, 25-18 loss at A-Sun rival Jacksonville (8-5, 4-2 A-Sun) Saturday afternoon. Sophomore outside hitter Kaylee Ream (Venice, Fla.) finished with a team-high seven kills for the Hatters.
JU out-hit the Hatters .376 to .026 and out-killed Stetson 43-18 in the lopsided shutout. Dolphin outside hitter Brooke Singleton recorded 17 kills and nine digs, nearly outdoing the Hatters by herself. Freshman setter Kelli Carneal (Fredericksburg, Va.) handed out 10 assists while senior libero Anna Becker (McLean, Ill.) collected a team-high 10 digs for Stetson. Today's match marked Stetson's 50th all-time outing against Jacksonville.
