DELAND, Fla. -- Due to the heavy rain the central Florida area has had during the past two days, Saturday's scheduled matches with Kennesaw State have been postponed until Sunday, Mar. 30th.
The women were originally supposed to take on the Owls at 10 a.m., at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center, while the men were due to take to the courts at 2 p.m., versus KSU.
Instead both matches will take place at the same times, but a day later in order to let the courts dry out and recover from all the rain.
The new Sunday schedule is as follows:
Mar. 30 @ 10 a.m. - Stetson (Women) vs. Kennesaw State
Mar. 30 @ 2 p.m. - Stetson (Men) vs. Kennesaw State
Both the men's and women's teams defeated Mercer (4-0) and (5-0) in rain shortened matches on Friday. The Hatter men stand at 6-8 on the year and 2-2 in the A-Sun, while the women are 11-5 and 2-2 in the conference heading into Sunday's contests.
