Stetson men's soccer concludes its three-game exhibition season on Saturday when the Hatters host Rollins, 7:30 p.m., at the Athletic Training Center. Admission is free.
Stetson owns a 1-0-1 record in the preseason following Tuesday's 2-0 win at USF. The start of the match was delayed two-and-a-half hours by rain and lightning, but the Hatters managed a strong road victory.
Lucas Diniz put Stetson on the board with a penalty kick in the 24th minute, his second PK goal of the preseason. Fellow senior Eli Beates gave the Hatters a 2-0 lead when he scored from inside six yards off a pass from Marco Hjorth.
In their preseason opener, the Hatters fought to a 1-1 tie last Sunday against Eastern Florida State at the ATC.
Stetson opens the 2015 regular season at Georgia Southern, 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 28. The Hatters play their home opener on Friday, Sept. 4 when they host Detroit at the ATC.
Tickets for regular-season home games are $5 each. The Hatter Ticket Office recently announced the Hat Trick Pass, which allows you to catch all Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer and Volleyball games for $50.
