DeLAND, Fla. — Stetson Men's Soccer returns home to Athletic Training Center in DeLand on Saturday for Senior Day, honoring a distinguished group of Hatters before hosting Warner at 6 p.m.
The senior class being celebrated includes captains Nicolo Radaelli and Andres Rodriguez, as well as forwards Seth Russ, Andres Freire, and midfielders Andres Mata, Jacob Lenhard, Lucas Fenton, and Dominik Topolsky, and defenders Giuseppe Croce and Adam Elkhamissy. Each has contributed to the growth and success of the program, bringing leadership, skill, and passion to the Hatters both on and off the field.
Stetson (2-4) comes off its first road win of the season, a 2-1 victory at George Washington. The last time the Hatters played at the ATC was a 3-0 home win over Presbyterian, powered by a brace from Andres Freire and a clean sheet from Nicolo Radaelli, who has started every match this season and recorded 19 saves on 75 shots faced.
Warner (0-7-1) enters on a four-game skid after a 4-0 loss to Eckerd. Senior forward Vlad Andersen leads the Royals with three goals and an assist, while Jason Flaming and Filip Mo each have two goals. Junior goalkeeper Mikey Melvin has been busy in net, tallying 53 saves on 80 shots faced.
