Daytona Beach, Fla. -- Bethune-Cookman defeated Stetson 3-1 (24-26, 25-11, 25-18, 25-18) in a non-conference match between two Volusia County schools Tuesday night at Moore Gym.

McKenna Foster had 11 kills and hit .381 to lead the Hatters (5-8). Kayla Weller registered a double-double of 27 assists and 10 digs.  Roxy Lake added 14 assists.

Delicia Pierre had 14 kills and four blocks for B-CU (3-11). The Wildcats outhit the Hatters .259 to .182.

Stetson will open up Atlantic Sun play on Saturday as the Hatters will welcome FGCU to the Edmunds Center. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m.

Seven Straight
The Hatters will play their next seven matches against A-Sun opponents.  Stetson will play only one more non-conference match on Oct. 21 vs. Florida A&M.

High Percentage
Cailyn Prewitt posted five kills without an error and hit .385 from the right side.  Middle blocker Madison Fitzsimmons hit .429 (8-2-14).
