Hatters Travel to Jacksonville This Weekend

Stetson Faces JU Friday and UNF Saturday

With just six matches remaining in the regular season, the Stetson Hatters will travel to Jacksonville, Fla. this weekend for a pair of ASUN Conference contests.

On Friday, Stetson (4-19, 1-7 ASUN) will battle Jacksonville (6-15, 2-6) at 7 p.m. at Swisher Gym.  The Hatters trail the Dolphins by just one game in the standings entering the weekend.

On Saturday, Stetson will square off against UNF (15-10, 5-3). First serve at the UNF Arena is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Several Hatters rank among the ASUN active career leaders in various statistical categories.  With 1,028 career kills, senior Madison Akins ranks second in the league to Kennesaw State's Kelly Marcinek (1,077 kills).  She also ranks third among ASUN active leaders with 82 aces and fifth among active leaders with 244 blocks.

Senior McKenna Foster owns the second-highest active service aces total with 88 aces, just one behind KSU's Kristi Piedimonte (89).  Foster also ranks sixth among active kills leaders with 697, just three kills shy of the 700 mark, and she is eight digs shy of 600.

Junior Shelby Connors ranks fourth among ASUN active leaders with 275 blocks.
