Hatters Struggle on Day One at ITA All-American

Stetson's Loic Blanco and Angus Bradshaw both suffered losses in the first round of the ITA All-American, Saturday at the University of Tulsa.

Bradshaw lost a three-set thriller to Charlotte's Constandinos Christoforou 6-4, 1-6, 6-4. Blanco lost to Dane Dunlap of Miami 6-4, 7-6 (7).

"Today was not our day," head coach Christophe Noblet said. "We competed and fought well, but struggled in the execution at times. There are no easy matches at the All-American and it took us a bit too long to adjust. The guys will get to play another round tomorrow, which will give them another shot at a competitive match."

Consolation play begins on Sunday, with doubles play starting on Monday.
