DeLand, Fla. — As announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) last week, the Stetson men's tennis team has once again solidified its place among the region's elite, earning the No. 10 ranking in the ITA Southeast Region standings. The Southeast Region, considered one of the toughest in the nation, features perennial national contenders and multiple nationally ranked programs.
This marks the second straight year the Hatters have finished the season in the region's top 10, reinforcing the program's continued upward trajectory under Head Coach Christophe Noblet.
"The ITA Southeast Region is without a doubt one of the best in the country, when considering the national rankings of the teams involved," Noblet said. "Being ranked in the top 10 is a great achievement, and doing it now for two years in a row is a testament to our team culture and consistent performance level."
The Hatters are coming off an impressive 17-5 season, including a 7-1 mark in Atlantic Sun Conference play, Stetson's most league wins since 2012, and a second consecutive trip to the ASUN Championship final.
Stetson was one of seven programs from the state of Florida to appear in the Southeast Region rankings, joining UCF, Florida State, Florida, South Florida, Miami, and Florida Atlantic. The Hatters also squared off against four of the top-10 regionally ranked teams last season, including a thrilling 4-3 home win over then-No. 65 Florida Atlantic.
As the Hatters prepare for the 2025-26 season, a talented incoming class is set to build upon the program's recent success.
