DeLAND, Fla. — Stetson men's tennis standouts Christian Kuehne and Xavier Sarda Marti have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, recognizing their combined success on the court and in the classroom.
In addition to earning Academic All-District honors, both Hatters were selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists and will advance to the national ballot, with Academic All-America teams set to be announced on June 3.
Kuehne capped off a standout senior season by earning ASUN Tournament MVP honors after clinching the championship match in Stetson's 4-3 victory over North Florida to secure the program's first ASUN Championship title. The Switzerland native posted an 9-7 singles record while primarily competing at No. 2 and also earned Academic All-ASUN recognition during the season.
Sarda Marti also delivered an exceptional campaign for the Hatters, earning All-ASUN Second Team and ASUN All-Tournament Team honors. The Barcelona, Spain native finished the season with an 11-2 singles record, including victories in all three ASUN Tournament matches to help lead Stetson to its historic championship run. He additionally earned Academic All-ASUN honors this spring.
The duo helped guide Stetson to an 14-7 overall record, the program's first ASUN Championship, and its first NCAA Tournament appearance in school history.
The CSC Academic All-District® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined athletic and academic achievements. Nominees must meet high standards both competitively and academically to be considered for the honor.
