ATLANTA, Ga. — Stetson men's tennis continued competition at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships on Thursday, highlighted by Alexandre Bergeron and Keoni Puig-McCallan advancing in the doubles main draw.

Bergeron and Puig-McCallan turned in the Hatters' top result of the day, defeating Miami's Caleb Saltz and Ashton Adesoro 8-3 to move on in the doubles draw.

Stetson's second doubles pairing of Christian Kuehne and Lukas Janousek battled Georgia Tech's Irwanto Jonathan and Owen DeMuth before falling 8-5.

In singles action, Bergeron faced Georgia Southern's William Mirarchi in the main draw. After dropping a tight opening set 6-4, Bergeron pushed the second set to a tiebreak before ultimately falling 6-4, 7-6.

Puig-McCallan, who moved into the main draw following a withdrawal earlier in the week, faced South Florida's Ettore Danesi. Danesi earned the victory in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2.

With singles competition complete for Bergeron and Puig-McCallan, the duo will look to continue their run together in the doubles main draw as competition continues at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in Atlanta.
