Stetson women's tennis concluded play at the Bedford Cup with its best day of the weekend as three Hatters earned singles victories in Tampa.
 
Junior Alexe Viaud, sophomore Lucie Renault and freshman Vicky Geurinckx each captured victories.
 
"Overall we have a little work to do individually, but I feel like we're headed in the right direction," Stetson head coach Travis Sandlant said.
 
Guericnkx finished fifth in her flight with a 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 against Florida State's Lucie Prochazkova.
 
Viaud was a 6-2, ret., winner over Karen Romero of Bethune-Cookman, and Renault earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Ioana Minca of FIU, a former No. 22-ranked junior and junior French Open quarterfinalist.
 
The Hatters next compete at the ITA Regionals, Oct. 19-23 in Athens, Ga.
