Trio of Hatters Advances to Main Draw at ITA Regional

Arijana Korac, Brooke Milner and Lucie Renault made it through qualifying on Thursday to reach the main draw at the ITA Regional, hosted by the University of Georgia.
 
The Hatter trio will join teammate Vicky Geurinckx, who was selected for the main draw earlier this week.
 
"It was great to get the wind today and that everyone is in the main draw tomorrow," Stetson head coach Travis Sandlant said. "To have four players in is a big improvement upon last season. We would like to continue to keep to momentum going."
 
Milner and Renault won their singles matches in straight sets, while Korac had to rally for a three-set win after dropping the first.
 
The doubles team of Milner/Renault suffered an 8-2 loss and failed to advance the main draw.
The Regional runs through Monday, Oct. 23.
