Hatters Host USF on Wednesday

Stetson men's basketball opens a three-game home stand when the Hatters host USF, 8 p.m., Wednesday at Edmunds Center. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3.

The Hatters (2-0) enter the game looking for a rare 3-0 start after wins over Webber (98-89) and at FIU (70-64, OT) to start the season. Stetson hasn't started a season with three straight wins since the 2000-01 campaign.

In Sunday's win at FIU, Miami native B.J. Glasford scored a career-high 17 points to lead four Hatters in double figures. Luke Doyle (13), Abayomi Iyiola and Divine Myles (11 each) joined Glasford with double digits as the Hatters defeated the Panthers for the third straight season.

USF (1-1) suffered a 63-53 loss to Morgan State on Monday in Tampa. The Bulls are coached by former Dayton and Georgia Tech boss Brian Gregory, in his first season with USF. Sophomore forward Tulio Da Silva leads USF in both scoring (15.5) and rebounds (6.5).

Tickets start at just $7 for general admission and can be purchased online or at the Edmunds Center box office.  Stetson students, faculty and staff are admitted free with an ID.

Stetson Athletics will be tossing out 100 pairs of Stetson branded socks during the doubleheader, and there will also be a free tailgate between games with free food, drinks, music, and more.  Fans can also get points for checking in on their Hatter Rewards app.

In addition to the ESPN3 broadcast, fans can also follow live stats at StetsonStats.com and @StetsonMBB Twitter feed.
