DeLAND -- Stetson hit a season-high 16 3-pointers, including four from senior walk-ons Brady Moses and Matthew Cioce, as the Hatters cruised to a 87-53 victory over visiting Ave Maria Monday night at the Edmunds Center.

Luke Doyle scored a game-high 15 points as all 13 Hatters recorded at least one basket. Divine Myles hit four 3-pointers and finished with 12 points, while freshman Christiaan Jones scored a career-high 11.

The Hatters (3-2) led just 12-11 early but went on a 19-0 run to break the game open midway through the first half.

The Gyrenes (1-6) opened the second half on an 11-0 run to trim the deficit to 12, but the Hatters quickly stretched the lead back to 20.

In the closing minutes, Moses ignited the crowd by hitting three straight times from behind the arc, while Cioce followed with a 3 of his own.

Stetson collected 27 assists as a team while committing just four turnovers. Angel Rivera led the way with eight assists.

The Hatters shot 50 percent from the floor and 47 percent from 3-point range.

Stetson will now play three games in seven days on the road, beginning with a Wednesday night contest at South Alabama. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. ET.
