Stetson University women's soccer standout
Sarah Collins was recognized by the United Soccer Coaches and was named to the organization's All-Southeast Region second team for the 2017 women's soccer season.

Collins, a senior forward from North Loxahatchee, started in all 16 Hatters' games this season and netted a team-high nine goals, four assists and 22 points. Her nine goals and 22 points were second in the ASUN Conference this season. She attempted 60 shots, 29 of which were on goal, while logging over 1100 minutes on the field this season.

She scored two goals in three matches this season, including in contests against American University on Aug. 18, Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sept. 2 and at Grand Canyon University on Sept. 15. She scored the game winning goal three times on the season, including in wins over American University and Grand Canyon as well as a game against ASUN Conference rival Jacksonville University on Oct. 21.

A four year member of the Hatters' women's soccer program, Collins ended her Stetson women's soccer playing career as the program's all-time leader in career goals with 37, while finishing second highest in points with 92. She became just the second player in Stetson women's soccer history to earn a spot on the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region Team.

Collins led the Hatters to a 9-4-3 overall record in 2017, including a 4-1-2 showing in the ASUN Conference.
