Hatters Host Kennesaw and Lipscomb For Senior Weekend

DeLand, Fla. -- After playing five consecutive matches on the road, the Hatters will return home this weekend for their final two conference matches of the season.

On Friday, the Hatters (3-21, 2-10 ASUN) will battle the first-place Kennesaw State Owls (17-4, 11-1 ASUN) at 7 p.m., and on Saturday, Stetson will host the Lipscomb Lady Bisons (14-11, 7-5) at 6 p.m.  Both matches will be broadcast live on ESPN3.

Saturday will also be senior night for the Hatters as Stetson will honor the four-year career of Shelby Connors.  The Avon, Ind. native has had a successful career at the middle blocker position. Entering the weekend, Connors has amassed 369 career blocks, marking the sixth-highest total in school history and the second-highest total in the rally scoring era.  She has played in over 100 matches and 400 sets, and she has earned a spot on the ASUN Honor Roll every season.

Tickets are $5 for general admission and can be purchased online or at the Edmunds Center ticket office.  Stetson students, faculty and staff are free with a valid ID.
