No. 15/20 Towson Downs Hatters

TOWSON, Md. –Ten different players scored goals as No. 15/20 Towson downed Stetson, 22-5, Sunday at Johnny Unitas Stadium.
 
The Tigers (4-3) out-shot Stetson by a 38-11 margin, including 26-3 in the first half.
 
Towson opened play by scoring the game's first 12 goals. Stetson broke the run when Taylor Patrizi notched her second goal of the season. Towson led, 14-1, at halftime.
 
Stetson (0-6) scored four goals in the second half. Senior Sam Maguire, playing in her home state, scored three goals after halftime, while Shelby Lehmann scored the other. Maguire finished the game with three goals.
 
Natalie Sulmonte led Towson with five goals.
 
Liza Diamond made eight saves for the Hatters, and finished with a team-high four ground balls.
 
The Hatters return to action when they host Wagner, 6 p.m., Thursday at the Athletic Training Center.
