After playing 15 of their first 21 matches on the road, the Stetson Hatters will begin a three-game homestand Friday night against the Lipscomb Bisons.  First serve at the Edmunds Center is set for 6 p.m.

The Hatters (12-9, 4-5 ASUN) will also host ASUN leader Kennesaw State (19-4, 10-0) at 6 p.m. Saturday.  UNF comes to town at 6 p.m. Tuesday.  All three matches matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Overall, Stetson will play five of its final seven regular season matches at home as the team looks to make a push towards clinching a berth in the ASUN Championship.  The Hatters have not played at home in three weeks and have not played at all since their match at Jacksonville on Oct. 16.

"We are pretty excited to be back home, especially coming off nine days with no games," junior Brianna Schmid said.

The Hatters have had success at home this season, going 5-1 overall while riding a current five-game win streak.

"I feel like we have been preparing a lot for these next few home matches, so we are really excited to be back playing in front of our home crowd," sophomore Chelcie Spence said. "Defensively, we have been focusing on going back to the basics, such as staying stopped and being able to read more."

Schmid currently leads the team with 85 blocks, while Hao Jin is right behind with 80. Eva Deisa leads the team in kills (208), while Spence is the team leader in digs (376).

Lipscomb enters Friday's match 13-9 overall and 8-2 in the ASUN.  The Bisons defeated the Hatters 3-0 in Nashville on Sept. 29.  Carlyle Nusbaum leads the ASUN in kills-per-set (4.10).

Friday will be Stetson's Dig Pink match and Saturday will be Code Green.  Tickets are just $5 and can be purchased online or at the Edmunds Center Ticket Office.  Stetson students, faculty and staff are admitted free with a Stetson ID.

The program will recognize honorary coaches Mary F. Andrew ('75) on Friday and Stephanie Martin ('88) on Saturday.

In addition to the video coverage, live stats, the Stetson volleyball twitter feed, and the HatCheck text messaging service will provide live updates as well.

Note: Former Stetson volleyball and women's tennis standout Dr. Taryn Lynn Morgan was inducted into the ASUN Hall of Fame Monday night. Morgan played for the Hatters from 1996-99.
