Winners of three in row and six out of eight, the Stetson volleyball team will travel to Fort Myers Tuesday night to face the FGCU Eagles.  First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. with live coverage on Facebook Live.

Both teams enter the match with a 12-6 overall record.  The Hatters (4-2 ASUN) are tied for fourth place in the conference standings and trail the second-place Eagles (5-1) by just one game.

Stetson is coming off a solid weekend sweep of NJIT and North Alabama.  The Hatters hit .262 combined in the two matches and held opponents to 18 points or less in all six sets.  Coupled with Wednesday's 3-0 win at UNF, the Hatters have won three straight 3-0 decisions for the first time since 1990.

Eva Deisa and Hao Jin each recorded nine kills in Saturday's victory over UNA.  Brianna Schmid hit .636 (8-1-11) and Deisa led the back row with 16 digs.  Jin recorded two solo blocks to bring her league-leading total to 16.

Defensively, Stetson leads the ASUN and ranks 29th in the NCAA with a 17.14 digs-per-set average.

FGCU, meanwhile, split its matches over the weekend, falling 3-1 to Kennesaw State before defeating Lipscomb by the same margin.  Sharonda Pickering leads the ASUN with a .445 attack percentage.

The Hatters are seeking their first four-game win streak since 2014.

In addition to the video coverage, live stats, the Stetson volleyball twitter feed, and the HatCheck text messaging service will provide live updates as well.
