Fresh off home sweeps over Kennesaw State and UNF, the Stetson Hatters will play their final two ASUN road matches of the season this weekend as they travel to North Alabama and NJIT. Friday's match at UNA will begin at 8 p.m. ET with live coverage on ESPN3. Sunday's 1 p.m. match at NJIT will be streamed on NJITHighlanders.com.

The Hatters have already clinched a spot in the ASUN Championship, November 15-17 in Kennesaw, Ga. It is Stetson's first postseason berth since 2015. Currently in fifth place in the league standings, the Hatters still have four regular season matches left to try and improve their seeding.

"We are not only about winning, but about building our team character," head coach Yang Deng said. "If you only rely on winning, that is a short-term goal. We want to build a strong foundation for what Stetson Volleyball is all about. I think that is our long term goal."

Anchored by a strong defense all season long, the Hatters' offense has roared to life of late. Stetson has hit .351 as a team over the past two matches combined, including a program conference record .400 against UNF on Tuesday.

Riley Nieporte has combined for 20 kills and a .415 attack percentage during the win streak while Emily DeStaffino is averaging 10.8 assists-per-set. Julie Varga is coming off a 12-kill, 11-dig double-double against UNF. Hao Jin is the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week.

Stetson is 5-1 at home in ASUN play, including wins over UNA and NJIT, but just 1-5 on the road. The Hatters will be making their ever visit to Florence, Ala., and Stetson is 0-3 all-time at NJIT.
