Khettry's Contract Not Renewed

Stetson Athletics has chosen not to renew the contract of women's soccer head coach Manoj Khettry, Deputy Athletic Director Alicia Queally announced today.

"We would like to thank Manoj for his service to Stetson University, the athletic department, and above all, its student-athletes," Queally said. "We wish him well in all his future endeavors."

In six seasons as Stetson's head coach, Khettry posted a 43-51-12 overall record and a 19-21-5 record in ASUN Conference play. Khettry guided the Hatters to the ASUN Tournament in four of his six seasons, reaching the semifinals in 2015 and 2016. Stetson was 4-10-3 overall and 1-6-1 in conference play in 2018 and failed to qualify for the postseason.

"I want to thank Alicia Queally and Jeff Altier and the Stetson administration for giving me an opportunity to lead the women's soccer program these past six seasons," Khettry said. "I have enjoyed every aspect and every opportunity that I have had. I think my staff and I tried to elevate the program as much as we could, but obviously it wasn't good enough. I hope the next staff can continue to elevate the program to the levels that the administration expects."

A national search for the next women's soccer head coach will begin immediately.
