Winners of four in a row, the Stetson Hatters will host their final two regular season contests this week as the welcome FGCU and Liberty to the Edmunds Center.  Stetson and ASUN leader FGCU will square off at 6 p.m. Tuesday on ESPN+, while the Hatters and Flames will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday on Facebook Live.

Tickets are just $5 and can be purchased online or at the Edmunds Center Ticket Office.  Stetson students, faculty and staff are admitted free with a Stetson ID.

Thursday will also be Senior Night for the Hatters, who will honor Hao Jin, Julie Varga, Anna Bezhan, and Charlotte Earnhart prior to the match.

"The seniors have been doing a great job on and off the court, both by leading and by supporting their teammates," head coach Yang Deng said. "It's been good to see."

Stetson (16-10, 8-6 ASUN) will try to take down their second ASUN leader of the season when they first-place FGCU (13-1 ASUN) on Tuesday. The Eagles have won 11 in a row.  The Hatters snapped Kennesaw's 14-game win streak back on Oct. 27.

Thursday's match between the Hatters and the Flames (13-15, 9-7 ASUN) could be a battle for fourth place.  Regardless of the result, Stetson knows Liberty will be its ASUN quarterfinal opponent on Nov. 15.

"These matches can really help prepare us for the conference tournament," Deng said. "We need to improve our consistency and level of performance."

The Hatters are hot as they have been all season, winning four in a row for the first time since 2014.  Offensively, Stetson is hitting .292 combined over that stretch with Riley Nieporte (38 kills), Julie Varga (36 kills), and Eva Deisa (32 kills) helping carry the load.

Chelcie Spence has moved up to fourth on the Hatters' single-season digs list with 446.  Hao Jin (97) and Brianna Schmid (95) are each closing in on 100 blocks for the season.

Stetson is looking to even up the season series against both FGCU and Liberty.  The Hatters have been outstanding at home this year, going 7-2 overall and 5-1 in ASUN play.

In addition to the video coverage, live stats, the Stetson volleyball twitter feed, and the HatCheck text messaging service will provide live updates as well.
