Malik Bhatnagar has been named ASUN Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.

A freshman from Ottawa, Ontario, Bhatnagar was a combined 4-0 in two matches last week, winning twice in both singles and doubles.

Bhatnagar helped the Hatters to team wins over both Furman (5-2) and Appalachian State (6-1). Against the Paladins, Bhatnagar picked up a straight set win (6-3, 6-2) at No. 1 singles against Cameron Green, the ITA's No. 110-ranked player. Bhatnagar moved to No. 2 singles against App State and secured a 6-1, 6-3 victory.

Bhatnagar also won a pair of doubles matches last week with playing partner
Angus Bradshaw. He tops the ASUN with a perfect 9-0 singles record.
