Hatters Blanked at FGCU

Stetson women's tennis closed out their regular-season schedule with a 7-0 loss at FGCU in ASUN Conference play in Fort Myers, Fla.
 
The Hatters finish the regular-season with an 11-8 overall record and a 3-3 conference mark.
 
Stetson earned a doubles victory as the No. 2 tandem of Lucie Renault & Vicky Geurinckx won, 6-2. But the Hatters were unable to gain any more momentum as FGCU (10-7, 6-0) won the doubles point.
 
In singles play, Stetson lost all six matches in straight sets as FGCU captured the ASUN regular-season title.
 
Next up for the Hatters is the ASUN Tournament, which runs April 20-22 at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.
