Game Recap: Women's Soccer | | Athletic Communications

Hatters Edged at Jacksonville

Jacksonville's Sarah Alexander scored the game's only goal as the Dolphins edged Stetson, 1-0, in ASUN Conference women's soccer action, Sunday in Jacksonville.
 
Alexander's goal came in the 65th minute and was assisted by Madicynn Harnish. It was one of just nine shots managed by Jacksonville (1-8-1, 1-1-0) all game.
 
Stetson (3-5-3, 0-1-1) took 15 shots but couldn't penetrate the JU goal as Brittany Hundley made nine saves. Lindsey Parent and Nicole Foley each had two shots on-goal for the Hatters.
 
Maggie Beatty and Emily Plotz split time in goal for the Hatters.
 
Stetson returns to action when the Hatters host Lipscomb, 7 p.m., Friday at the Athletic Training Center.
