Hatters Fall 3-0 at Kennesaw State

Kennesaw, Ga. -- Lauren Chastang led all players with 12 kills as Kennesaw State defeated Stetson 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-13) Friday night at the KSU Convocation Center.

In a battle of two unbeaten ASUN teams, the Hatters dropped to 9-5 overall and 1-1 in league play.  KSU (12-4) improved to 3-0 in the conference.

Hao Jin recorded seven kills, five blocks and a .333 attack percentage to lead the Hatters.  Eva Deisa added six kills and 10 digs.

Sydni Shelton also recorded double digit kills (11) for the Owls.

Kennesaw State outhit the Hatters .287 to .121.  KSU recorded 52 kills and four aces for the match.  Stetson owned a 7-4 advantage in blocks.

The Hatters will head immediately to Nashville, Tenn. to face Lipscomb at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday.  Friday's match was the first of three straight road games for Stetson.
