Game Recap: Men's Soccer | | Athletic Communications

Hatters Edge FAU, 2-1

Erwan Colas scored a pair of goals to lead Stetson to a 2-1 men's soccer win over Florida Atlantic, Saturday in Boca Raton.
 
The victory evens Stetson's season record at 4-4-1.
 
Colas gave Stetson an early 1-0 lead when he scored in the 23rd minute. William Suaut assisted the score.
 
Colas struck again in the 29th minute when Alex Turner found Colas for his team-leading fifth goal of the season.
 
FAU cut the lead in half right before halftime when Alberto Escobedo scored in the 44th minute.
 
The teams were scoreless in the second half, as each took five shots.
 
Stetson's Justin Snyder played all 90 minutes in goal for the Hatters in his first career start. He made three saves while facing 10 shots.
 
The Hatters return to play when they host SMU, 7 p.m., Monday at the Athletic Training Center in DeLand.
