Hatters Blanked at Miami

Stetson men's tennis suffered a 7-0 loss on Friday at Miami in a match played at Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
 
Facing a lineup which featured three Top 100-ranked players, the young Hatters (1-1) were no match for the Hurricane (1-0).  Stetson's lineup featured four freshmen on Friday.
 
"Miami beat us fair and square today," Stetson head coach Christophe Noblet said. "They were the better team and pressured us from the beginning to the end. There is a lot for us to learn from this match as we continue to grow as a team."
 
Up next the Hatters visit Bethune-Cookman, Sunday, Jan. 27, in Daytona Beach.
