Hatters Host FAU on Wednesday

Stetson men's soccer takes a break from ASUN Conference play on Wednesday when the Hatters welcome Florida Atlantic to the Athletic Training Center for a 6 p.m. kickoff.

The Hatters (7-5-1) currently stand alone atop the ASUN standings with a 3-0-1 record following last Saturday's 3-1 win over Lipscomb. Ajmeer Spengler, Chris DeGance and Lewis Scattergood each scored goals to lead Stetson to a key conference win.

FAU (4-5) enters the game following a 5-2 win over Keiser last Friday. The Owls, member of Conference USA, have yet to win a game in two tries away from home.

Wednesday's game is Breast Cancer Awareness night. Stetson sorority Zeta Tau Alpha will be at the game sharing information about their philanthropy and collecting donations. Zeta Tau Alpha's national philanthropy is breast cancer education and awareness. One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, so this cause is personal. Breast cancer touches many lives.
Through local and national partnerships, campus and community initiatives, and the distribution of millions of pink ribbons since 1992, ZTA collegiate and alumnae members are dedicated to our philanthropy. By spreading the message of breast cancer education and awareness, ZTA sisters are determined to diminish this disease.
