Hatters Fall at Kennesaw State

Stetson women's soccer suffered a 3-0 loss to Kennesaw State in ASUN Conference play, Sunday in Kennesaw, Ga.
 
Emely Sosa scored twice for the Owls (7-6 overall, 2-2 ASUN) as Kennesaw State out-shot the Hatters (2-8-2, 0-2-1) 18-3.
 
Sosa opened the scoring with a goal in the 17th minute, and teammate Kameron Downs followed with a score in the 44th minute as the Owls took a 2-0 lead into halftime. Sosa's scored again in the 54th minute for the final margin.
 
Stetson goalkeeper Lara Bates made eight saves.
 
The Hatters next host Liberty, 7 p.m., Thursday, at the Athletic Training Center in DeLand.
