Hatters Drop Two to Florida Atlantic

Clermont, Fla. -- Florida Atlantic swept Stetson in a doubleheader Friday, winning by scores of 3-0 and 10-2 at Legends Way in Clermont.

Molly McLaughlin had three hits on the day to lead the Hatters (2-7). Devin Lewis drove in a pair of runs.

Tori Perkins went the distance in game one, allowing two earned runs on eight hits.  Jaime Tino worked the first five innings in game two.

With the victories, FAU improved to 5-7. It was the first meeting between the two teams since 2008.

The Hatters will return home to face Louisiana Tech in a doubleheader on Saturday. First pitch at Patricia Wilson Field is scheduled for 2 p.m.
