Preview
The Stetson Hatters will make their first-ever trip to the state of Virginia this weekend to face ASUN-leader Liberty in a three-game series in Lynchburg.  The teams will play a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday and a single game at 1 p.m. Sunday.  All three games will be broadcast on ESPN+.

All-Time Series
Stetson leads the all-time series 9-4 over Liberty.  In the previous meeting in 2016, the Flames defeated the Hatters 8-0 in Clermont, Fla.  Liberty won the Big South Conference Championship last season before moving to the ASUN.

Standings Log Jam
The Hatters are in a five-way tie for third place in the ASUN standings with a 3-3 record.  All eight teams have three losses or more on the season.  Liberty currently leads the conference with a 6-3 record.

Momentum Building
Winners of three straight and five out of seven, the Hatters have built some momentum coming into this weekend's series.  Stetson swept Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday in dramatic fashion, scoring four runs with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to win 8-7 in game 1.  The Hatters held off a late B-CU rally in game 2 to win 6-4.

Two Straight Walk-offs for Jackson
Junior Elizabeth Jackson had two consecutive seventh-inning, two-out, walk-off hits this past week.  Against North Alabama on Sunday, she singled up the middle after a nine-pitch at-bat to drive in Maddie Marchiando with the winning run in a 2-1 win.  Against Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday, Jackson singled to left on the very first pitch to again score Marchiando with the winning run in an 8-7 win.  The last Hatter to have two straight game-winning walk-off hits was Devin Lewis last year against Holy Cross.

Walk-Off Winners
Stetson has now had nine come-from-behind victories this season, including four walk-offs.  Three of the four walk-offs came in games where Stetson was down to its final out (Maryland, North Alabama, and Bethune-Cookman).  Against Maryland and B-CU, the Hatters scored four runs after being down to their final out.

Quality Wins
The Hatters have victories this season over two Big East opponents (Providence, Villanova), a Big Ten opponent (Maryland), an A10 Opponent (UMASS), and a team receiving votes in the Top 25 (Louisiana Tech).

Offensive Leaders
Senior Ashly Smith ranks fifth in the league in doubles (9) and fifth in RBI (23).  Riley Russell ranks second in the ASUN with 17 stolen bases.

In The Circle
Tori Perkins is 11-7 with a 1.90 ERA this season.  She ranks sixth in the ASUN in ERA, fourth in wins, third in complete games (14), and second in shutouts (3).  She also ranks third in the NCAA in fewest walks allowed per seven innings (0.67).

Behind the Plate
Blake Crews leads the ASUN in runners caught stealing with eight.

On the Bases
The Hatters have stolen 53 bases in 33 games (1.61 per game), good for 35th in the NCAA.  Riley Russell ranks 53rd among all individuals with a 0.49 steals-per-game average.

Milestones Approaching
Molly McLaughlin needs six hits for 100
Tori Perkins needs three wins for 50
