Hatters Shine in ASUN Postseason Awards with Five Honorees

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The ASUN Conference announced its 2025 Softball Postseason Awards on Tuesday morning, with five Stetson Hatters earning recognition for their standout performances this season.

Dylan Anthony and Addison Foster were named to the Second Team All-ASUN, while Kami Eppley secured a spot on the Third Team All-ASUN. In addition, freshmen Amber Chumley and Ava Braswell were selected to the ASUN All-Freshman Team, continuing a recent trend of rookie excellence for Stetson. This marks the third straight year the Hatters have placed a player on the All-Freshman Team and the second consecutive year with two honorees.

Second Team All-ASUN

Dylan Anthony, in her senior season, appeared in 52 games and posted a solid .278 batting average. She added a .390 on-base percentage, .414 slugging percentage, and .804 OPS. Anthony totaled 37 hits, including nine doubles and three home runs, while drawing 25 walks, scoring 17 runs, and collecting 23 RBIs. Defensively, the senior catcher recorded a .975 fielding percentage with 171 putouts and 25 assists behind the plate.

Addison Foster earned Second Team honors for the second year in a row after a stellar 56-game season. She led the team in nearly every offensive category, finishing with a .411 batting average, .505 on-base percentage, .646 slugging percentage, and 1.151 OPS. Foster tallied 72 hits, including 12 doubles, seven triples, and five home runs, while driving in 45 runs and scoring 53. She also drew 33 walks and was hit by pitch three times. In the field, she notched a .920 fielding percentage with 72 putouts and 113 assists.

Third Team All-ASUN

Kami Eppley, another senior standout, played in all 61 games and produced a .339 batting average, .400 on-base percentage, and .646 slugging percentage, resulting in an .852 OPS. She racked up 63 hits with seven doubles, four triples, and two home runs. Eppley contributed 44 RBIs, scored 35 runs, and drew 17 walks. Defensively, she was nearly flawless with a .985 fielding percentage, 130 putouts, and four assists.

ASUN All-Freshman Team

Amber Chumley made an immediate impact in her first season, anchoring the middle of the Hatters' lineup with a .301 batting average and .851 OPS. She recorded 55 hits, including nine doubles and a team-high nine home runs, while driving in 40 runs and scoring 30.

Ava Braswell became a key member of Stetson's pitching rotation, appearing in 33 games and earning 10 wins. The freshman right-handed pitcher posted a 3.30 ERA and 1.49 WHIP across 97.2 innings. She allowed 46 earned runs on 101 hits, issued 45 walks, and struck out 52 batters.

Looking Ahead
After finishing third in the ASUN Tournament, the Hatters cap off a successful 2025 season with strong postseason recognition. With a solid mix of returning talent and emerging stars, Stetson will look to build on this momentum heading into 2026.
