DELAND, Fla. – The Stetson University softball team has announced its 2026 regular season schedule, featuring 35 home contests at Patricia Wilson Field and marquee matchups against nationally recognized programs including Baylor, Florida, and Texas Tech.
Head Coach Shellie Cousins looks to continue building on the consistency and culture that last season's team displayed during its deep run in the ASUN Championship. The Hatters put together a 33-win campaign in 2025, including 14 victories in conference play. It marked the program's first 30-win season since 2016.
Stetson opens the 2026 season at home with the Frank Griffin Classic from February 6–8, hosting UT Martin, Seton Hall, and Indiana State. The Hatters will continue their early-season homestand with the Hatter Classic from February 13–15, welcoming Maine, Bethune-Cookman, and North Dakota State to Patricia Wilson Field.
The team will hit the road for a mid-month series at USF in Tampa before returning home for the Stetson Invitational, February 20–22, featuring Columbia, Bradley, and St. John's. The Hatters will then travel west to compete in a tournament in Oregon from February 27–March 1.
March brings a challenging stretch through the Carolinas with contests at UNC and NC State, including games against Michigan State and Mercer as part of the NC State tournament. Stetson will return home to host Baylor on March 11, followed by a three-game ASUN series against UNF (March 14–15) and a marquee midweek matchup with Texas Tech on March 17.
The Hatters will travel to FGCU for a three-game ASUN series (March 21–22) and visit Florida in Gainesville on March 25 before returning home to host Queens (March 28–29). Stetson and Florida will meet again in DeLand on April 1 for a highly anticipated rematch.
