Stetson Men's Rowing head coach Katie Thurstin announced today the addition of 12 student-athletes for the 2019-2020 academic and athletic year.

"We are excited to have such a strong incoming class this fall," Thurstin said. "Stetson is making a name for itself in the rowing community and each of these student-athletes will be a part of that history. It's a fun time to be a Hatter."

Joining the Hatters this fall are: Geoffrey Blackwell (Jacksonville, Fla.), Matthew Clendening (Venice, Fla.), Artemio Escobar (Sebastian, Fla.), Savion Fordham (Tampa, Fla.), Austin Hill (Ponte Verde Beach, Fla.), Nicholas Jeske (Tampa, Fla.), Vincent Leffler (Daytona Beach, Fla.) Lucas Quinby (Murfreesboro, Tenn.), Dylan Robertson (Fort Washington, Pa.), Matthew Sherman (Bryn Mawr, Pa.), Gavin Smiley (Daytona Beach, Fla.) and Julian Wilberding (Sarasota, Fla.).

"Momentum is certainly going the right way for us coming off of our historic 2019 spring," assistant coach Ethan Shoemaker said. "With the addition of these young men to our team, we feel good about what we can do this year. There is a lot of work ahead of us, but the roster looks strong and the guys are ready to get to work."
