Hatters Ink Record-Breaking 12-Boat Recruiting Class During November Signing Week

DeLAND, Fla. -- Stetson University's men's rowing program is thrilled to announce its incoming Class of 2026 recruits, a record-breaking group of 12 talented student-athletes who signed during the November Signing Week period. The newcomers will join the Hatters in DeLand, Florida, beginning in the fall of 2026, bringing fresh energy, strong racing experience, and a wide range of backgrounds to the program on Lake Beresford.

Head coach Jamie Francis and staff described the Signing Week as "exciting" due to the volume of commitments, marking the largest recruiting class in program history. The group features a strong Florida presence, along with recruits from across the United States and internationally, highlighting Stetson's continued growth and expanding reach on the national stage.

Grayson Tame — Edgewater High School (Orlando, Florida); rows for Edgewater.
Cooper Wilding — Brownsburg High School (Brownsburg, Indiana); rows with Indianapolis Rowing Club.
Garrett Goedde — Bishop Verot Catholic High School (Cape Coral, Florida); rows for Cape Coral Rowing (Cape Coral, Florida).
Gabriele Mendoza — Christopher Columbus High School (Key Biscayne, Florida); rows for Miami Rowing Club.
Callum Lackey — Somerset Academy Sky Point (Las Vegas, Nevada); rows with Lake Las Vegas Rowing.
Maverick Ross — NSU University School (Fort Lauderdale, Florida); rows for NSU University School.
Lukas Mulloy — Dr. Phillips High School (Orlando, Florida area); rows for O.A.R.S.
Nicholas Neves — Venice Senior High School (Nokomis, Florida); rows with Sarasota Crew.
