New Video Boards and Digital Displays Installed at Edmunds Center

DeLand, Fla. -- The Stetson University athletic department has upgraded its digital media presence in the Edmunds Center with the addition of two high-definition video boards and eight digital courtside scorers tables.
 
The two large Daktronics LED video displays measure 16 feet wide by 9 feet tall and hang from the north and south walls of the arena.  Each of the eight LED scorers tables measure 9 feet wide by 3 feet tall, creating a 36x3 ribbon panel when four tables are assembled together.
 
The digital display upgrades also include two Daktronics LED scoreboards and a video control system.
 
"These new Daktronics video boards and digital tables will really enhance our gameday experience," Stetson Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations Jake Gibson said.  "Fans can be more engaged with in-game statistics and promotional activities, while our sponsors will benefit from increased exposure. Overall, the displays allow us to bring a lot of creative elements and enjoyment to the games."
 
The project of removing the original Edmunds Center scoreboards and installing the new display boards took place over the summer.  Daktronics and Randall Electric assisted with the installation.
 
The first official event with the new video boards will be the volleyball home opener between Stetson and Lipscomb on Friday, Sept. 27.
