The Hatters have reached the start of conference play but not the end of their early season travels.  At least not yet.

Stetson (2-7, 0-0) heads to Jacksonville, Fla. for a Tuesday night ASUN conference showdown with the Jacksonville Dolphins (3-10, 0-0).  First serve is set for 7 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN+.

Fun in the ASUN
Stetson went 8-8 in conference play last season and finished fifth in the nine-team league.  It was Stetson's highest conference finish since 2014.


About the Opponent
Jacksonville is 3-10 following a 1-2 weekend at Davidson.  The teams split last year's season series with each team winning at home.  Jacksonville leads the all-time series 64-16.

Last Week
The Hatters dropped a pair of matches last weekend at the USF Classic, falling 3-1 to Indiana and 3-0 to USF.  Chelcie Spence was named to the all-tournament team after picking up 40 digs, including the 1000th of her career.  She became just the 12th player in school history to reach that milestone. 

Road Warriors
Tuesday marks the final match of a 10-game road swing to start the season.  The Hatters will finally play at home Friday night vs. Lipscomb.

In the Middle
Senior middle Brianna Schmid leads the team and ranks fourth in the ASUN with with a .333 attack percentage. She also leads the team and ranks 12th in the ASUN with a 0.83 blocks-per-set average.  

Consistent Play
Senior outside Eva Deisa has collected double digit digs in all nine matches this season.  She has five double-doubles and ranks third in the ASUN in aces-per-set (0.44).

Stetson hosts Lipscomb at 6 p.m. Friday night.
