Preview
Stetson will begin a three-game homestand Tuesday afternoon when the Hatters host the Florida Memorial Lions.  Tip-off at the Edmunds Center is set for 2 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN+.  

All-Time Series vs. Florida Memorial
Tuesday's game will be the first head-to-head meeting between the Hatters and Lions.

About the Opponent
The Lions are 3-4 overall and will play at FIU Monday night.  Florida Memorial is an NAIA member institution.

Last Time Out
Stetson led 14-12 after the first quarter, but South Florida eventually ran away with an 85-43 victory over the Hatters Sunday afternoon at Yuengling Center.  After shooting 55 percent in their home opener on Thursday, the Hatters (1-1) connected on just 26.7 percent of their field goal attempts Sunday in their first road game of the season.  Jamiya Turner led the Hatters with 10 points, adding five rebounds and three assists.  Day'Neshia Banks scored eight points and Shamari Tyson chipped in seven.  USF held a 69-29 advantage on the glass.

ASUN Leaders
Jamiya Turner leads the ASUN in assist/turnover ratio (3.0) and ranks second in rebounding (7.5). She also leads the ASUN and ranks fifth in the NCAA in offensive rebounds / game (5.0). Yazz Wazeerud-Din leads the ASUN and ranks 41st in the NCAA in steals/game (3.0). As a team, Stetson leads the league in steals (11.5).

The Head Coach
Head Coach Lynn Bria is in her 13th season with the Hatters and 26th season overall. The all-time winningest coach in school history, Bria holds a Stetson record of 223-164 (.576).

Under the Hat
  • Tuesday's game will mark the third game in six days for the Hatters
  • Stetson is looking to go 2-0 at home after defeating Edward Waters by 50 last Thursday
  • The Hatters are 111-29 (.793) over their past 140 home games, dating back to 2011-12
  • Day'Neshia Banks (12.5 ppg), Yazz Wazeerud-Din (12.0 ppg), and Jamiya Turner (11.5) are averaging double figures in scoring

Stetson will host the 33rd Annual Hatter Classic on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Stetson will face UAB (3-1) at 11 a.m. Friday and Abilene Christian (5-1) at 11 a.m. Sunday.  UAB and Abilene Christian will square off at 1 p.m. Saturday.
