Hatters Fall at Liberty

LYNCHBURG, Va.--Stetson suffered a 77-49 loss to ASUN Conference front runner Liberty, Saturday at Vines Center.
 
Jahlil Rawley led the Hatters (15-14 overall, 9-5 ASUN) with 12 points, while Joel Kabimba added 11.
 
Liberty (26-3, 12-2) led wire-to-wire on Saturday. The Flames held a 34-17 lead at halftime, and never let the Hatters get to any closer than 13 points.
 
Stetson shot just 34 percent from the field while getting out-rebounded by a 35-28 margin.
 
Caleb Homesley led the Flames with 22 points.
 
The Hatters next host North Florida, 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 27, at Edmunds Center.
