Hatters Gain Fourth Straight Win

MACON, Ga.--Stetson men's tennis picked up a 5-2 win at Mercer on Saturday.
 
The Hatters (7-2) won for the fourth straight match. They opened played against their former conference rivals by winning the doubles point. Sven Thiergard & Fabian Penzkofer earned a 6-3 win on Court 2, and Josh Laka & Tim Gennes grabbed a 7-5 win on Court 3.
 
In singles play, Stetson won four of six matches. Clement Hamel was a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 winner on Court 2, and Alexandre Hillhouse was a 7-5, 6-1 winner on Court 3.
 
Tim Gennes eased his way to a 6-1, 6-1 win on Court 5, and Fabian Penzkofer closed out the day for Stetson with a 6-4, 6-1 win on Court 4.
 
The Hatters next visit Georgia State, 11 a.m., Sunday.
