Hatters Fall Twice on Friday

DeLand, Fla. -- Stetson dropped its first two games of the Stetson Invitational, falling 2-0 to Colgate and 6-2 to Bethune-Cookman Friday at Patricia Wilson Field.

Freshman Nyah Morgan hit her first career home run, a two-run shot against the Wildcats, to account for the only Stetson runs of the day.

Chloe Temples and Jaime Tino each pitched complete games. The Hatters (6-10) turned two double plays.

Stetson will return to the diamond Saturday to face Bethune-Cookman at 3 p.m. and Colgate at 5 p.m.
