Hatters Fall 71-57 to Jacksonville on Senior Day

DeLand, Fla. -- Day'Neshia Banks and Kimia Carter each scored 17 points but Stetson fell 71-57 to Jacksonville Saturday afternoon at the Edmunds Center.

The Hatters (12-16, 6-9 ASUN) can still finish fifth in the ASUN standings with a win over North Florida on Monday.  Tip-off in DeLand is set for 7 p.m. 

Banks added seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocks to her stat line.  It was her 10th straight game in double figures.  Carter, meanwhile, was 6-for-12 from the floor and 4-for-6 from the free throw line.

Shakayla Nevitt scored 22 points to lead the Dolphins (18-10, 10-5).

Megan Vincent collected a pair of blocks to reach the 50-block mark for the second season in a row.

Stetson honored seniors Jon'Nita Henry and Kennedi Colclough before the game.  Colclough has played in 69 career games and Henry, 54.
