Hatters Blanked by USF

TAMPA, Fla.--Stetson men's tennis suffered a 7-0 loss to USF on Saturday at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts.
 
Stetson (3-2) lost the doubles point and was swept in singles play, but they didn't go down without a fight.
 
Freshman Sven Thiergard on Court 4 and sophomore Tim Gennes on Court 5 each pushed their opponents to a third set. But each lost a tiebreaker, with Thiergard falling 10-8, and Gennes going down 10-7.
 
The Hatters next visit Florida A&M, 12:30 p.m., Sunday.
