Jacksonville, Ala. -- The Stetson University women's soccer team gets set to travel to Jacksonville, Alabama to face the Jacksonville State Gamecocks in an ASUN Conference match. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. EST.

The Hatters enter play Sunday afternoon with a 5-6-1 overall record and a 2-1-0 record in ASUN play. Stetson comes off a 2-1 loss at North Alabama back on Thursday, Sept. 30. Sanna Widstrom scored her first goal of the year in the Hatters loss.
Scouting the Gamecocks
Jacksonville State comes into Sunday's action with an identical overall record as the Hatters at 5-6-1 but sit at 1-2-0 in ASUN action. The Gamecocks come off a 1-1 two-match stretch, topping Kennesaw State 1-0 back on Sept. 26 but then falling 2-1 to Florida Gulf Coast on Sept. 30.
Three Gamecocks are tied for the team lead in goals and points as Cynthia Bagozzi, Nyeemah Beckles and Cephana Deane all have three goals and seven points. Gabriel Clarke has two goals and two assists while Alicia Pallister has three assists. Goalkeeper Morgan Lerch has 53 saves on the year with a .746 save percentage and three shutouts.
All-Time Series
Sunday's match with the Gamecocks will be the sixth all-time meeting between the two sides with JSU holding a 4-1 advantage and have claimed four consecutive wins in the series. The Hatters recorded a win in the first-ever meeting in 1996, but from 1999 through 2002, the Gamecocks posted wins, including three shutout victories.

Kyleigh Thelen continues to lead the Hatters in points with six and is tied with
Jackie Fiacco and
Georgia Place for the team lead in goals with two.
Lea Alexander leads the Hatters with three assists on the year while
Anna Brethauer leads in minutes played with 1050.
Looking Ahead
After Stetson squares off against JSU, the Hatters return home for one match on Oct. 7 to face University of North Florida. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Admission to the ATC is $5.00 or free with a Stetson ID.
